No. OralData runs in your browser, at the practice or at home, on a computer or a mobile device. As an option, the desktop app automatically imports your X-rays and photos.
What is the difference between dictation and the checklist?
With Live Report, you speak during the consultation and the AI writes the report in real time. With the checklist, you talk and the AI assistant ticks off the exam and treatment, then structures the data: the report builds up line by line. You can also tick the boxes yourself. Both lead to the same report.
Which types of X-rays are supported?
2D and 3D X-rays: periapical, panoramic and cone beam. All DICOM files can be read, whatever the brand.
